Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator (Ascot | West End).

le tooth is seeking an energetic Full-Time or Part-Time Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator to join our growing and supportive team. You will be working across our state-of-the-art, architecturally designed clinics in Ascot and West End.

Your role will be to assist chair-side and coordinate front-desk administrative activities and provide customer service as required.

You will display a genuine enthusiasm to learn, show initiative and be willing to become part of a dedicated, hardworking team of professionals.

A Certificate III in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded, although not essential.

Daily tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and set-up the surgery with the appropriate instruments/materials for each patient according to the treatment required
  • Decontamination and sterilisation of equipment and instruments
  • Welcome and greet patients to the clinic
  • Manage phone calls and emails (e.g. handling patient enquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, making specialist referrals)
  • Maintain patient accounts and records
  • Process patient payments
  • Ensure front-desk area is tidy and professionally presented

Candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt
  • Proficient computer skills (experience with EXACT preferable)
  • Outstanding communication and patient management skills
